6 persons shooting 1 course takes 1 hour 20 minutes DOUBLE THESE TIMES FOR SHOOTING BOTH COURSES
5-Stand
5 People (Maximum) takes 20 minutes
Shooting Sports in Winter
It has been determined that when the temperature reaches 20 degrees or below, clay target machines do not function properly. They can be damaged if operated in extremely low temperatures. The cold causes oil in the gear boxes and other vital components to jell (not flow) resulting in excessive wear and damage. The gear boxes that are used to raise and lower the tower are also affected and should not be used below 20 degrees.
Items Needed to Shoot
2 boxes shells per course (50 shots). Safety glasses and hearing protection are required.
Skeet or Trap
2 persons shooting takes 40 minutes
4 - 6 persons shooting takes 50-60 minutes
Sporting Clays Course is open 9:30 am to Dusk
Skeet/Trap and 5-Stand field open 9:30 am to 10:00 pm
Skeet/Trap and 5-Stand can be shot until 10:00 pm because the field has lights. The shooting must stop at 10:00 pm to stop the noise for guests and neighbors.
